High Standards of Learn to Swim
We follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Program.
The Swim England Learn to Swim Programme is the national syllabus used to help teachers deliver swimming lessons to a high and consistent standard.
The programme which is all-inclusive takes non-swimmers on a journey through four specialised Frameworks.
These Frameworks start with the basics of learning to swim and finish with advanced aquatic skills for sports such as water polo or diving. There is also a Framework for teaching older teens and adults to swim.
Swim England Pre-School Framework

- Aquatic Skills Framework
- This Framework follows on from the completion of stage seven in the learn to swim framework and is made up of three advanced stages, from eight to ten. These stages help to build skills for other aquatic disciplines and sports like Water Polo, Diving and Synchronised Swimming.
